Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Video Creator and Editor at NowMe Sdn Bhd. The role involves designing, producing, and editing video content for various platforms. Responsibilities include creating engaging motion graphics, overseeing multimedia projects, managing video post-production, and ensuring the quality and coherence of all video components.

Qualifications

  • A degree or certification in Multimedia, Film Production, or a related field is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Video Production, Video Editing, and Video Post-Production
  • Has experience in video shooting and editing (portfolio or TikTok samples preferred)
  • Experience in creating Motion Graphics and handling Multimedia projects
  • Comfortable using CapCut or similar editing tools (e.g., Premiere Rush, VN, InShot)
  • Strong storytelling and visual communication abilities
  • Familiar with TikTok content formats and trends
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience in e-commerce or live-video production is a plus
  • Can work on-site (if required) or has proper equipment for remote shooting
  • Available to start immediately

Responsibilities:

  • Shoot and edit short-form TikTok videos across various content themes
  • Use CapCut (or similar editing tools) to trim, cut, and merge video clips for optimal pacing and duration
  • Add and synchronise music, sound effects, and text overlays to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement
  • Apply creative transitions and visual effects to produce dynamic and visually appealing content.
  • Optimise videos for TikTok's platform specifications (aspect ratio, resolution, and duration)
  • Collaborate closely with content creators to align videos with their creative vision and campaign goals
  • Maintain brand consistency and ensure all content adheres to company guidelines
  • Stay updated on current TikTok trends, challenges, and editing techniques, and incorporate them into content
  • Assist in setting up lighting, props, and filming equipment as needed
  • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Media, Communications, Film, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • 1–2 years of experience in video shooting and editing — fresh graduates with strong portfolios are also welcome.
  • Proven experience creating or editing TikTok, Reels, or other short-form video content.
