About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the ELITE TRANSFORM TEAM' as a Captain Cafe. As a Captain Cafe, you will play a crucial role in managing the overall operations and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our customers at our cafe in Kulai Johor. This is a full-time position that will see you leading a team of waiters and overseeing all front-of-house activities.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth, efficient dining experience for all customers
  2. Manage and supervise the waiting staff team, including scheduling, training and performance management
  3. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including stock management, cash handling and compliance with health and safety regulations
  4. Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
  5. Handle customer queries, complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
  6. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve cafe operations and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a cafe or restaurant captain, with a track record of leading and motivating a team of waiting staff
  2. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly and attentive dining experience
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both customers and the kitchen team
  4. Proficient in cash handling, inventory management and adhering to health and safety regulations
  5. A keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  6. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
