About the role

NAZLINK SDN. BHD. is seeking a talented and dedicated Transport Safety Officer to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our road transport fleet.

What you'll be doing

  • Monitor and coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to uphold the highest safety standards
  • Response, Investigate and document all accidents and incidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Conduct regular safety audits and trainings to educate drivers on best practices and industry regulations
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and reporting systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Continuously review and improve safety measures to drive continuous improvement
  • Conduct delivery site risk assessment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar transport safety role, preferably within the road transport industry
  • Thorough understanding of relevant safety regulations, including OSHA and DOT requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address safety concerns
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to driving a safety-first culture
