Job Description – Java Developer

The Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while collaborating closely with IT managers and project teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and project objectives.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • A Master's degree is a plus but not mandatory.

Optional Certifications:

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Java SE or equivalent.
  • Spring Professional Certification or certifications in related Java frameworks.
  • Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) or Agile/Scrum certification (if working in Agile teams).
  • Cloud Platform Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Azure Developer) – beneficial for cloud-based projects.
  • Any other industry-recognized certifications relevant to software development, application security, or DevOps practices.

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in Spring Boot (mandatory), Spring, and Java EE.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Oracle DB, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in designing and implementing Microservices Architecture.
  • Good knowledge of JSON, RESTful APIs, and Web Services.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM11, RM12,000.00 per month
