Job Purpose

Provide consultation, management, treatment and deliver high-quality of patient care to maximize patient health outcomes.

What is your role about?

  • Deliver timely and appropriate care in urgent situations through patient assessment, stabilization, diagnosis, treatment, and referral, in line with the responsibilities of a medical officer.

  • Ensure continuity of care during patient transfers, emergency situations, and in-patient evaluations, with timely responses to critical conditions.

  • Uphold quality patient care by following established protocols, maintaining professional communication with patients and colleagues, performing procedures effectively, addressing concerns appropriately, and monitoring care outcomes.

  • Promote a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to institutional safety practices, infection control measures, and PPE usage, while supporting staff education on injury prevention and managing exposure incidents.

  • Keep current with evolving health risks by attending relevant training sessions and educational programs to help maintain a safe workplace.

  • Support organizational initiatives by participating in healthcare programs, public outreach efforts, staff development activities, and compliance or accreditation processes.

  • Support continuous improvement of clinical services through ongoing education and engagement in the development and evaluation of care protocols, in alignment with hospital standards and regulations.

  • Participate actively in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement efforts.

Who are we looking for?

  • Possess at least Medical Degree from an accredited University
  • Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in primary health care/preventive medicine will be advantaged
  • Preferable with working experience in healthcare setting or hospitality industry
  • Possess skills on all the procedures (including Pap Smear, Vaccination, Mantoux test, phlebotomy and intravenous cannulation). Able to understand technical issues in medical field
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English. Able to speak mandarin will be an added advantage
