  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of CNC machined parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve quality control processes, inspection plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometres, calipers, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), height gauges, and other tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Analyze non-conformities and perform root cause analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support first article inspections (FAI) and prepare related reports in compliance with customer or industry standards (e.g., AS9102 if applicable).
  • Collaborate with CNC machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues and improve process capability.
  • Monitor key quality metrics (e.g., scrap rate, rework rate, defect trends) and prepare performance reports.
