About the role
Gases System Engineering Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our team in Penang. This is a full-time position, where you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and business development initiatives.
What you'll be doing
- Generating new sales leads and opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
- Preparing and presenting company profile, marketing material, sales proposals and quotations to potential clients
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitoring and reporting on sales performance
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities and new product/service offerings
What we're looking for
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Preferably 1 year or more of sales experience, preferably in the mechanical engineering or industrial gas industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to swiftly grasp technical concepts related to piping systems and associated tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
