We are a well-established and dynamic company specialising in the sale, rental and services (re-conditioning) of new and used construction machinery and equipment located at JB Masai.

We are now looking for experience Purchaser to join our team

Job description & requirement

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability, while conducting market research to optimize procurement processes.
  • End-to-End Procurement: Oversee the complete procurement cycle, from placing purchase orders to managing inventory levels, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effectiveness.
  • Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, resolving issues and conducting regular performance reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Cost Control: Manage procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure purchases align with the company's financial goals.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and emerging suppliers to enhance purchasing
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to engage effectively with Chinese-majority customers and stakeholders.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial and construction manufacturing, or related industries is highly valued.
  • Procurement Expertise: Proven experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement, with a strong understanding of supplier selection and negotiation processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities to foster strong partnerships.
  • Liaise with warehouse team to ensure goods are received on time and resolve discrepancies, if any.
  • Any other tasks assigned by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM3,500.00 per month
