Job Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

1. To develop project management strategy & methodology. This includes:

  • To handle on pre-development planning.
  • To implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for work processes.
  • To propose and implement value engineering practices

2. To review plans, schedules, documents, and drawings for:

  • Tender/contract
  • Planning submission & approval
  • Construction

3. To manage Project Planning & development team:

  • To manage & monitor of project submission & approvals to ensure timely approvals.
  • To manage any changes in projects.
  • To conduct meetings - project kick-off meeting, site progress review meeting, subcontractor/ supplier's meeting, site safety committee meeting for projects.

4. To manage & lead construction team. This includes:

  • To monitor and regulate the work progress of Main Contractors & Sub-Contractors.
  • To monitor and regulate the quality of Main Contractors & Sub-Contractors.
  • To manage compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • To support in resolution of any site issues.

5. Feasibility studies, advisory and reporting functions. This includes:

  • To prepare for any potential projects feasibility and GDV.
  • To apply professional civil engineering practices to project design, planning and development requirements.
  • To update Top Management on all project status.

6. Any other ad-hoc tasks request by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Education background : Civil Engineering / Project Planning
  • Language : English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
  • Gender : No preference
  • Experiences : 8 years
  • Able to work under pressure with good time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work with all levels of employees.
