Associate - Collections

Job Purpose

A reliable tele-collector to represent Courts Malaysia Sdn. Bhd to contact and claim outstanding debts from Courts' customers. A tele-collector will have to be polite and sensitive towards customers while also remaining committed to their purpose. Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency are extremely useful to succeed in this task.

Job Responsibility

• Perform an outgoing call to credit customers and collect outstanding payments according to SOP and regulation
• Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and advice customers on the payment options
• Review collection queue to perform collection activities accordingly
• Take responsibility for resolving disputes while ensure customer concerns are addressed properly and all parties related are duly notified
• Update account status and database regularly
• To attempt a negotiation and repayment resolution with each customer within a 3 minutes timeframe by structuring the calls with a combination of questioning and listening techniques giving maximum number of captured "promise to pay".
• To work within a target-based incentive scheme maximizing efficiency through tried and tested negotiation techniques giving excellent productivity result.
• To ensure daily, weekly and monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are met. To support and assist in effective implementation of collection strategies.
• Achieve target set on a month – to – month basis i.e. RM collected, percentage of account paid, percentage of installment and / or arrears paid that contribute to collection team achievements.
• To maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of company and customer information.
• To carry out other duties / assignments related to the operations of department as directed by the superior.

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification is SPM
• Minimum one year of experience as debt collector
• Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Self-motivated
• Willing to work long hours

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
