Get to know the role:
Develops strategies to attract qualified applicants for the range of jobs available in the company, such as managerial, administrative, semi-professional and manual and clerical job vacancies. Screen applicants for meeting qualification and experience for the available job vacancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meets with the hiring manager to obtain understanding of the job description and ascertain minimum and preferred qualifications.
- Determines the best method to fill the identified vacancies. Prepares job advertisements to source for suitable candidates.
- Determines the job-skill sets for the job and determine the interview questions to verify with candidates.
- Interview potential candidates and select the most qualified for further review as necessary by hiring managers.
- Administer or coordinate validated pre-employment test.
- Conduct reference checks on selected candidates, before offer of employment.
- Establish and maintain rapport with Government agencies, Universities, Schools and Colleges for recruiting plans for graduates and school leaver candidates.
- Identify placement for new hiring candidates based on the vacancies available in outlets.
- Conduct exit interviews to determine reason for resignation, and apprise company management for any significant trend, such as performance problems, training and career pathing and pay practices.
- Able to manage both corporate and retail hiring.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
You should have:
- Candidates must possess a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience specializing in the recruitment field.
- Candidates must have Recruiters/ Executive Search background with shown track record of closing opening vacancies.
- Good command of spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Mandarin speaker is a plus. - Meticulous, proactive and independent.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
