Position Title: Accountant (Hybrid Option)

Experience Level: 3–5 years (Australian accounting firm experience required)

Location: Malaysia (Remote/Office-Based as required)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background working in an Australian accounting practice. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of Australian tax requirements and the ability to manage client outcomes effectively. Proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and lodge various categories of Australian tax work, including individual, company, trust, and partnership returns.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax and accounting tasks.
  • Use Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) for workflow management, compliance, and client servicing.
  • Perform reconciliations, adjustments, and necessary compliance tasks within the practice.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of work aligned with Australian accounting standards.
  • Manage deadlines, client expectations, and workflow effectively.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Min 3 years of experience in accounting firm.
  • Strong proficiency with Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM).
  • Hands-on experience with Australian taxation, including preparation and review across multiple tax categories.
  • Strong understanding of client deliverables and outcomes within an accounting practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional work ethic, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8, RM9,000.00 per month
