We are looking for a suitable candidate to join us as a Purchasing Executive (Halal).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  1. Procurement & Sourcing

- Source and evalute suppliers for food, beverage, (Halal certified suppliers).

  • Ensure all purchased goods meet required quality and safety standards.

  • Request and compare quotations to ensure best value for money.

  • Maintain a supplier database with updated price lists, contacts and performance records.

  • Order Management

- Prepare purchased orders and follow up on delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of goods.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with kitchen teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.

  • Verify quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders and invoices.

  • Cost Control Budgeting

- Support management in monitoring and analyzing food cost, cost of goods sold (COGS and montly purchasing reports).

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative suppliers or products.

  • Ensure purchasing practices align with company cost-control policies.

  • Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies, hygiene standards, and local regulations for Halal ingredients.

  • Maintain proper documentation for all purchase-related activities including invoices, contracts, and delivery orders.

  • Support internal and external audits with accurate records.

  • Coordination & Communication

- Work closely wth the kitchen, and finance teams to understand operational needs.

- Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues promptly.

  • Assist in periodic supplier performance evaluation and improvement initiatives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Supply Chain or other related disciplines.

  2. Computer literature with a good command of both written and spoken English and Malay.

  3. At least 4 years working and 2 years in Purchasing position.

  4. Flexible and mobile - enabled.

  5. Able to work independently, with minimum supervision.

  6. Strong commercial and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
