Position Overview

The FMCG Manager is responsible for driving the sales, distribution, and marketing of F&B products within the fast-moving consumer goods sector. This role oversees business growth strategies, market expansion, and operational efficiency while ensuring the company's products achieve maximum market penetration and profitability.

The ideal candidate is a results-oriented professional with strong leadership, strategic planning, and execution skills, as well as deep knowledge of FMCG operations, sales channels, and consumer behavior.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience: 5–8 years in FMCG or F&B industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in sales growth, business development, and brand management.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG supply chain, distribution channels, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales/CRM software.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and distribution channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to optimize product positioning and marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visibility across all channels.

Operations & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, and distribution efficiency.
  • Implement cost-control measures and optimize operational processes.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the FMCG sales and operations team.
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a high-performance culture that encourages innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

Financial & Reporting

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for FMCG operations.
  • Track sales performance, margins, and ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,800.00 per month
