About the role
Prince Court Medical Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Operating Theatre team. This full-time role will see you playing a vital part in providing excellent patient care throughout the perioperative process.
What you'll be doing
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during and after surgical procedures
- Assisting surgeons and anesthetists during operations by preparing the operating theatre, sterilizing equipment and monitoring patients
- Administering medications and fluids as prescribed, and monitoring patients' vital signs and health status
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
- Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
- Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures and safety protocols
What we're looking for
- A registered nurse with a valid practicing certificate.
- At least 3 years of experience in operating theater.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Commitment to providing the highest standards of patient-centered care.
