About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Japanese Sushi Chef to join our team at Jun Cuisine Enterprise Sdn Bhd' in Ipoh, Perak. As a full-time Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, authentic Japanese sushi dishes to our discerning customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and crafting a variety of traditional and innovative sushi dishes using the freshest ingredients
• Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
• Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience
• Monitoring inventory and making recommendations for ingredient purchases
• Continually developing your sushi-making skills and techniques

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Japanese Sushi Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
• Strong knowledge of traditional Japanese cuisine and sushi-making techniques
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
• Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience
• Proficient in the use of sushi-making tools and equipment
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
