About the role
SOANS GROUP SDN. BHD. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive cum Admin to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting and administrative duties for our growing business.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and bank reconciliations
- Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Providing administrative support, such as filing, data entry, and general office duties
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as necessary
- Staying up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices
- Supporting the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
What we're looking for
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations
- Proficient in written and spoken Chinese
