Job summary:

We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced Account Executives to manage full sets of accounts and handle MCST (Management Corporation Strata Title) accounting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, and budget preparation for residential and mixed-use developments. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and strata management regulations, while supporting audits and liaising with stakeholders such as auditors, managing agents, and council members.

Job Description

  • Manage full sets of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in a timely manner
  • Handle MCST accounting, including billing, collections, sinking fund tracking, and quarterly reporting
  • Maintain and update AR ageing reports and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Verify vendor invoices and process payments in line with internal and MCST guidelines
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and council members for audits, tax matters, and financial reporting
  • Assist in budget preparation and support AGMs/EGMs with relevant financial documents
  • Ensure compliance with BMSMA and statutory accounting requirements
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
  • Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • At least 1-2 years' experience, preferably in property/MCST accounting
  • Proficient in full set accounting and MCST billing/collection processes
  • Familiarity with SFRS and BMSMA regulations is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines
