Summary: As a logistic analyst, you will be responsible for managing customs declarations and inspection procedures to ensure full compliance with customs laws, regulations, and trade compliance requirements for all import and export activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Import/Export Declaration :
- Study product knowledge and work closely with brokers to complete customs clearance procedures, including handling daily operational issues during the clearance process.
- Execute daily import and export activities for goods, components, machines, and spare parts.
- Track the status of customs declarations, coordinate the resolution of abnormal customs-related cases, and ensure all processes comply with local customs laws and regulations.
- Liaise with Global Trade Services on import/export matters and ensure compliance with LMW license
Import/Export Inspection
- Handle customs inspections during import/export declarations and the processing of returned goods.
- Perform advance risk control for import and export declarations, address customs disputes, and coordinate or participate in managing major customs clearance exceptions and inspections.
License/Certificate Management
- Manage applications for import/export licenses and certificates (e.g., preferential CoO, CCC exemption).
- Review and update the validity of all licenses and certificates to meet regulatory requirements.
Customs Broker & Forwarder Management
- Coordinate daily communication with brokers/forwarders to ensure efficient operations, minimize risk, and reduce customs costs.
- Monitor broker performance through KPIs to ensure service quality and continuous improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with customs brokers, forwarders, and government agencies is preferred.
- Solid understanding of customs regulations, HS codes, clearance procedures, and I/E documentation.
- Familiarity with license/certificate applications (CoO, CCC exemption, etc.).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Office.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistic, International Trade, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations, customs declaration, or trade compliance.
