  • Handling full-sets of accounts, preparing financial statements, month-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets register, and intercompany transactions.
  • To ensure the completeness of full accounting entries and supporting worksheets or documents for monthly accounts closing by the targeted deadline.
  • Oversee the preparation, accuracy, and timely submission of corporate tax estimates (Form CP204) and revisions (Form CP204A).
  • Advise management of tax planning strategies and statutory deadlines.
  • Assist in supervising the team and overseeing day-to-day financial operations.
  • Assist in overall financial reporting, taxtation, and audit matters.
  • Responsible for timely SST submission and ensuring payments are made to the relevant authority within the deadline.
  • Responsible for e-Invoice compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with bankers, internal and external auditors, and tax agents.
  • To ensure timely preparation and submission of accounts breaking down with audit schedules.
  • Proactive and ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain proper record keeping and organized filing system.
  • To undertake other duties being assigned or directed by the superior from time to time.

Requirements

  • MUST be able to handle full set of accounts.
  • Possess education level of Diploma or Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
  • MUST have knowledge in e-Invoice especially in Construction and Plantation Industry.
  • MUST have knowledge in Sales Tax and Service Tax.
  • MUST have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Tax.
  • MUST have experiences in Account/Audit Firm.
  • MUST have experiences in Contruction and Plantation Industry.
  • Preferable have exposure to Kusimi and SQL accounting system.
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Have moderate to advance knowledge of computer system and understanding of accounting software.
  • A team player and can work independently without much supervision.
  • Able to supervise and coach subordinates when necessary.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm ; Saturday 8.30am to 1.00pm
  • Full-time contract basis.
