Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Quality

  • Provide overall supplier quality assurance oversight, ensuring compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and test methods.
  • Evaluate and qualify new suppliers through audits, assessments, and sample inspections.
  • Develop and implement supplier quality requirements, inspection criteria, and control plans.
  • Act as the main contact for supplier FAIRs, including coordination of sample submissions and first article inspections (FAI).
  • Conduct supplier training on topics such as Copy Exact, Critical Parts PQP, and 8D report expectations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues (SCARs, 8D, RCA) and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure effective follow-up on incoming material quality issues.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics (PPM, delivery accuracy, defect rates) and lead improvement initiatives.
  • Support supplier development for critical or strategic components.
  • Prepare regular reports on supplier quality and incoming material performance.
  • Support internal, customer, and third-party audits related to supplier or incoming quality.

Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

  • Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components, and parts against approved specifications, drawings, and test methods.
  • Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and measuring equipment.
  • Document and report non-conformities in incoming materials, collaborating with Purchasing and suppliers for disposition.
  • Develop and maintain IQC procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists.
  • Lead and supervise the IQC Inspector team in performing daily inspection tasks.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records, supplier scorecards, and quality documentation.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM7, RM8,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
