Semiconductor Engineering Services
division in Penang and are looking for an experienced
Design Verification (DV) Manager
to lead our delivery and client engagement efforts.

Role Overview

The
Design Verification Manager (Delivery Manager/B2B)
will lead a team of skilled DV engineers, oversee project delivery, and serve as the primary interface between our technical teams and global clients. This role combines technical excellence, leadership, and business acumen to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Delivery Management

  • Lead and manage a team of
    Design Verification engineers (5+ years average experience)
    .
  • Oversee delivery schedules, resource planning, and project milestones to ensure high-quality, on-time results.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
  • Conduct interviews and contribute to the recruitment and growth of the DV team in Penang.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide hands-on technical direction in
    SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification
    for SoC/IP level designs.
  • Review verification plans, testbench architecture, coverage metrics, and simulation results.
  • Drive implementation of best practices in DV methodologies and tool flows (VCS, Xcelium, Questa, etc.).

Client & Business Engagement

  • Act as the
    Delivery Manager
    and main technical contact for client engagements in the semiconductor domain.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support
    B2B opportunities
    , proposals, and technical presentations.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering quality outcomes and proactive communication.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients through technical consulting and delivery excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with
    HR
    ,
    Finance
    , and
    Sales
    to align delivery and business goals.
  • Coordinate with internal and offshore engineering teams for multi-site project execution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
    (or related field).
  • 10+ years of experience
    in
    Design Verification
    with proven leadership and delivery management responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of
    SystemVerilog, UVM, and simulation/debug tools
    (VCS, Xcelium, Questa, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in
    project delivery management
    ,
    client interfacing
    , and
    B2B engagement
    .
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting
    pre-sales or technical sales
    activities is an advantage.
