About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join the team at MEGA AEROSPACE CENTRE SDN. BHD.' in Tuaran, Sabah. This contract role will provide crucial support to the finance department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and financial reporting. If you have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for accuracy, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, ledgers, and reports
  2. Performing data entry, invoicing, and managing accounts payable and receivable
  3. Reconciling bank statements and petty cash
  4. Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
  5. Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
  6. Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance or bookkeeping role
  3. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  4. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Familiarity with the Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting industry
