Procurement Executive

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, consumables, and services required for carton box manufacturing operations. Ensures cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery of supplies to support continuous production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase raw materials such as paper, liner, medium, ink, glue, and packaging materials.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to ensure cost savings and best value procurement.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with the production and planning teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on order status and deliveries.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, purchase records, and documentation.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and ISO/RBA standards.
- Assist in continuous cost reduction, process improvement, and alternative sourcing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in carton box or paper-related manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of raw materials (kraft paper, corrugated sheets, etc.) and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/Purchasing systems.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently under pressure.
Additional Advantage (Optional):
- Experience in RBA / ISO 9001 environment.
- Familiar with import/export and logistics coordination.
- Knowledge of costing and supplier audit processes.
- Able to speak mandarin will be added as advantage
