Key Responsibilities :

Account Receivable

  • Compile, check and update all sort of collections from retails on daily basis.
  • Monitor and chase for AR collections.
  • Clearing of AR accounts, if any.
  • Monitor of cash in bank at each outlet, check collected fund tally with sales report.
  • Immediate respond to retails for any discrepancies found.
  • Liaise with relevant merchant providers for refund/ overcharge issue.
  • Handle and manage inter-company offsetting and advise for payment amounts.
  • Maintain and safe keep of petty cash.
  • Perform weekly fund transfer as per instruction.
  • Record incoming payments from customers.

Month End Job

  • Timeliness of monthly AR closing.
  • To prepare bank reconciliation account for each outlet.
  • To reconcile and confirm sales paid by credit cards are entered into company's account correctly.

Year end job

  • Assist in finalization and submit financial year end accounts for audit purpose.
  • Assist to provide tax expenses analysis to tax agent.

Others

  • Documentation filing of sales invoice, inter-company transfer invoices, bank statements, bank-in-slips, petty cash vouchers & etc.
  • To undertake any additional duties as directed by the superior.
  • Check through Audited Financial Statement and tax computation of his/her entities in charge.

Key Requirement:

  • Degree in finance with a minimum of 2-3 years related experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel formula vlookup.
  • Experience in AR reconciliation & double entry.
  • Has a good sense of responsibility and is able to work under minimum supervision in a fast paced environment.
  • Familiar with computerized accounting systems and proficient in MS office, G-Suite, or SAP.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Preferably 2 years working experience in AR function would be an added advantage.
  • Willing to work at Johor Bahru - Kawasan Perindustrian Tebrau 1
