Purpose of the Role

The MIE will support medical inquiry operations for the Medical Affairs Department of Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei.

Expectations of the Role:

  • Respond to unsolicited requests for Medical Information (MI) in a scientifically balanced manner for delegated therapy areas.
  • Manage and monitor the MI inbox on daily basis
  • Manage and maintain MI-related trackers and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and support reconciliation between pharmacovigilance, quality and client teams as required.
  • Perform MI quality control, prepare reports with findings and propose improvements to the MI processes & SOP.
  • Provide training to ZP staff of MI processes.
  • Ensure audit-readiness with medical inquiries filed into MI tracker and respective folders
  • Proactively ensure Medical Inquiry and responsibilities are performed and provide regular updates to the Medical Manager.

Attributes Required:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor Degree holder in medical science, biostatistics, pharmacology or related background.
  • Fresh graduates who are passionate about medical affairs are encouraged to apply.

Advantage to Have:

  • Working experience in the field of medical information or scientific communication.
  • Able to work independently, actively reaching out to internal and external colleagues to ensure MIs are responded to in a timely manner
