Role Overview

The Video Editor is responsible for managing end-to-end media production across photography, videography, and video editing for digital and social media campaigns. This role involves conceptualizing creative ideas, planning and executing shoots, and editing high-quality content that reflects the brand's visual identity. The video editor will be based at our client's office with a team put together by us, the agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • In charge of media production including photography, videography, video editing and media production for social media campaigns such as social media feeds, ads, brochures, etc.

  • Must be able to conceptualize creative ideas, develop thematic directions, and style all videography/photography work.

  • Lead full end to end video production process, identify key scenes, timeline, scripting, thumbnail and post-production.

  • Conduct video, photoshoot, and live-stream events.

  • Handle video equipment such as lighting, audio and camera during the shoot day

  • Perform other ad-hoc duties, projects, and initiatives as assigned and when required. Responsible for all visual and creative aspects of the video, including the video's style, tone, and mood

  • Work closely with the social media team to create video content for various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

  • Provide company event coverages by capturing appropriate footage and compile to showcase and present company events appropriately

  • Other ad hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • A diploma or Bachelor's degree is required

  • At least 2 years of working experience as a videographer, video editor, or a related role

  • Past experience in digital advertisements, short narrative content, corporate videos, YouTube videos, or festive videos

  • Capable of operating video cameras and lighting equipment

  • Knowledgeable in camera support and audio recording

  • Familiarity with Sony and mirrorless camera systems

Required Skills

·       Proficient in Premiere Pro, and familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
