Responsibilities:

Product Pricing & Profitability

  • Support the
    end-to-end product pricing process
    and premium rating to ensure that products are competitive and profitable, meeting the required return to shareholders.
  • Perform
    pricing and profit tests
    of products using established models and methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with
    internal product and pricing policies
    ,
    profit margins
    , and
    external regulatory guidelines
    to obtain approval and filing for product launches.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Work with internal teams to
    integrate new Individual Life and Accident & Health product features
    into day-to-day operational activities.
  • Assist in handling routine queries from stakeholders regarding product pricing, actuarial parameters, and other related matters.

Actuarial & System Setup

  • Assist in the
    actuarial-related pricing parameter setup
    for new products.
  • Help set up
    benefit illustrations programs
    for
    system validation
    and ensure accuracy.
  • Play a supporting role in
    actuarial and pricing-related projects
    and
    company-wide initiatives
    .

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze and interpret data to uncover trends and provide insights that help drive better, more informed business decisions.
  • Support
    pricing initiatives across all distribution channels
    by utilizing
    data analytics
    to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
    in
    Actuarial Science
    or a related field.
  • Must have
    passed or have exemptions
    in
    Preliminary Actuarial Exams
    from one of the actuarial associations recognized by
    Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)
    .
  • Strong
    computer skills
    including proficiency in
    Excel
    ,
    Word
    , and etc.
  • Experience with
    Prophet
    for
    product modeling and projection
    is highly preferred.
