About the role

Pamir Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Draftsman (Architectural / Structural / M&E) to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time role will play a crucial part in the design and development of our projects, contributing to the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing detailed architectural, structural, and mechanical/electrical (M&E) shop drawings using CAD software in accordance with project requirements.
  • Review, check, and verify drawings before submission.
  • Collaborating closely with technical team, as well as site teams to identify and resolve drawing conflicts and technical discrepancies.
  • Prepare combined services drawings (CSD) and coordinated multi-discipline layout plans.

  • To maintain latest drawing details as per RFIs, VO changes, and consultant revisions.

  • Ensure drafting standards align with project requirement and company standards.

  • Capable of preparing detailed technical proposals for submission to consultants and/or clients.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma in Drafting or Computer Aided Design (CAD).

(Degree in related field is an added advantage.)

  • Minimum 5 years of drafting experience in the construction industry
  • Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools. Knowledge of 3D model, BIM/Revit is an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of construction detailing, site installation requirements, and coordination practices.
  • Able to interpret construction drawings, RFI responses, and authority-approved plans.
  • Able to communicate in basic English.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple drawing deadlines and support fast-track project timelines.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions to design challenges
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
