We're looking for a Film & Video Editor (Intern) who's passionate about creative visuals, understands how lighting works for darker skin tones, and wants to gain real-world experience helping a new YouTuber and brand founder grow their channel and visual identity.

The Role

This role involves both camera shooting and video editing — capturing clean, well-framed footage and turning it into sharp, modern edits that fit Augustine Atlantic's premium aesthetic.

It's ideal for a student or part-timer looking to build a side income, develop editing experience, and work directly with a creative founder in a professional setting.

Key Details

  • Allowance: RM 500 / month
  • Hours: Weekdays only, 7 PM – 11 PM (flexible scheduling)
  • No weekends
  • Attire: Formal or smart-formal (to match our brand image)
  • Location: Kuala Lumpur (occasional hybrid shoots)

Responsibilities

  • Handle camera operations for indoor and outdoor shoots.
  • Edit short-form and long-form content (YouTube, reels, brand visuals).
  • Apply consistent color correction and lighting to suit darker skin tones.
  • Maintain a clean, minimal, and professional editing style.
  • Collaborate closely on visual direction, pacing, and tone.

Requirements

  • Proficient in DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Some experience with cameras, framing, and basic lighting setup.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual.
  • Must be based in Malaysia (preferably Kuala Lumpur).
  • Portfolio or sample work required.
