JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our Group Regulatory Affairs team. In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of regulatory frameworks and tools to ensure Kenanga Group's compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in delivering structured regulatory advice, enabling the business to manage regulatory risks through proactive regulatory engagement and alignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will generally be involved in:

  • Providing timely and structured regulatory advice to support Kenanga Group-wide compliance.
  • Supporting corporate projects by identifying and interpreting relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitating the implementation of regulatory policies through internal analysis, benchmarking, and advisory support.
  • Reviewing regulatory submissions and correspondence to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Monitoring and analysing regulatory developments to inform internal stakeholders and guide decision-making.
  • Maintaining governance frameworks, regulatory registers, and compliance tools.
  • Coordinating responses to regulatory audits, supervisory assessments, and consultations.
  • Acting as a liaison with regulatory authorities to ensure effective communication and positive outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Law or a related discipline.
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the financial services or capital markets industry.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a regulatory compliance or advisory role.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, governance practices, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business guidance.
