Lucenxia (M) Sdn Bhd is a home-dialysis-care services provider and manufacturer of automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) cyclers, with nationwide presence in Malaysia. The company places high emphasis on innovation, quality of life for renal patients, and advanced technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot the INTELLIS APD machines and other biomedical equipment used in home-dialysis therapies, ensuring full operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with R&D, clinical & service teams to support product engineering modifications, technical enhancements and user-field feedback integration.
  • Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for biomedical devices, parts and systems in line with company quality and compliance standards (GDPMD, MDA, ISO).
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning and training of home dialysis equipment at patient homes, partner clinics or service centres.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of equipment failures, generate corrective action reports and liaise with suppliers or internal manufacturing for component replacements.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of device performance, service records and calibration logs; ensure adherence to regulatory and internal audit requirements.
  • Assist in trials, validation and introduction of new biomedical devices or accessory products for Lucenxia's portfolio, aligned with the company's innovation ethos.
  • Liaise with external bodies (vendors, certification agencies) to secure and maintain device compliance and safety standards in Malaysia & regional markets.
  • Provide technical input for budgeting, procurement and inventory management of biomedical spares, tools and service equipment.
  • Act as a technical resource for on-call service escalations and may be required to support 24/7 service coverage as part of Lucenxia's patient-care commitment.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in biomedical equipment engineering or service support, preferably in medical device industry or dialysis-related equipment.
  3. Strong knowledge of biomedical device standards, diagnostics, calibration methods, preventive maintenance and regulatory compliance.
  4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electronic schematics, PLC or embedded systems (desirable).
  5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; capable of working independently in field settings (patient homes) as well as in workshop/lab.
  6. Good communication skills with ability to train non-technical users and interface with clinical staff, patients and caregivers.
  7. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including after-hours for service call-outs.
