This role involves managing full spectrum of accounting function which includes group consolidation financial statement and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, audit requirements, tax computation and relevant laws and regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Handle all core accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

·       Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports, statements, and account schedules.

·       Review and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to support timely month-end closing.

·       Prepare and review monthly aging reports for debtors and creditors; monitor collections and payments to manage cash flow.

·       Ensure timely and accurate submission of E-Invoice, SST, etc, as required by regulatory bodies.

·       Ensure accounting records and systems follows company policies and comply with financial, tax and legal requirements.

·       Prepare audit and tax schedules; work closely with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance.

·       Suggest and implement ways to improve accounting processes and internal controls relating to accounting and reporting as well as overall business flow to ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory and other external requirements.

·       Work with other departments to support operations and provide useful financial insights.

·       Carry out other tasks or duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

·       Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance. Candidates with partial qualifications and relevant working experience will be considered.

·       Minimum 4 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts.

·       Experience working in a public listed company is an added advantage.

·       Possess integrity, assertiveness, good problem solving and strong analytical skills.

·       Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills and able to interact with people from all levels, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·       Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both in written and oral. Mandarin is a plus.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel and experience with accounting software (AutoCount and SQL) is an added advantage.
