What you'll be doing

  • Safely and effectively operate and maintain excavators and associated equipment on construction sites
  • Perform routine maintenance and pre-operation checks on excavators to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with the construction team to support project timelines and deadlines
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Excavator Operator in the construction industry
  • Valid heavy equipment operator's license and certification
  • Strong understanding of excavator operation, maintenance and safety protocols
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Commitment to working safely and in compliance with regulations
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
