Location: Ayer Keroh, Melaka

Duration: 3 – 6 months

Role and Responsibilities:

Sourcing &Procurement

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating new suppliers or vendors.
  • Compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines to select the most suitable suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to obtain the best value.
  • Support cost and budget checking for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Ensure all sourcing and procurement activities comply with company policies and government procurement rules (e.g., ePerolehan).
  • Suggest improvements to enhance the efficiency of procurement processes.
  • Keep updated with market trends, supplier information, and pricing fluctuations.

Tender

  • Assist in preparing and submitting tender documents, proposals, and quotations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary technical and pricing information for tenders.
  • Review tender requirements and ensure all submissions meet client specifications and deadlines.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of tender submissions and related correspondence.
  • Support in analyzing tender results and providing recommendations for future bids.
  • Monitor government and private tender platforms for new opportunities.

Purchasing

  • Prepare, process, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and on time.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
  • Track order status and follow up with suppliers on pending or delayed deliveries.
  • Maintain proper records of purchases, contracts, invoices, and supplier performance.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with procurement policies and company standards.

Salary & Allowance:

  • Basic Salary: RM2,000 per month
  • Allowance: RM300 per month

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Law, Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • CGPA 3.00 or above.
  • SPM with at least A in Mathematics.
  • Knowledge of ePerolehan is an advantage.
