About the role
BW SHAH ALAM SDN. BHD. is seeking a Front Desk Officer to join our team in Selangor. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our company. As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Officer plays a vital role in creating a positive impression of our organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Handling incoming phone calls, emails and other inquiries in a timely and courteous fashion
- Providing administrative support such as booking appointments, managing schedules, and organising meetings
- Maintaining the reception area and ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times
- Performing general office duties like photocopying, filing, and data entry as required
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as needed to support the smooth running of the office
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a front-desk role, preferably in an office environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of people
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in using office equipment and software such as Microsoft Office
- A friendly, customer-service oriented attitude and a desire to provide exceptional service
- Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
