Job Summary:

Our Client, a well-established Foreign Bank in Malaysia is seeking a person skilled and experienced in global market operations processing & support to join their dynamic Global Market Operations division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operations and processing support for the global market business of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the processing of Global Market products like FX/MM, FX Options, IR Derivatives, and Bonds.
  • Timely completion and settlement of daily operations
  • Monitoring outsourced activities and ensuring compliance with SLAs
  • Timely delivery of trade confirmations and following up on outstanding items
  • Liaising with stakeholders on operational issues
  • Managing failed trades, investigating cash and position breaks
  • Preparing daily cash projections and performing regulatory reporting
  • Participating in SOP reviews and identifying process improvements
  • Involvement in system testing and new product launches
  • Adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with resource management and other assigned duties

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary education in a related field.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding and knowledge of treasury/global market banking business is desirable.
