Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code for complex web applications and microservices.

  • Build and consume RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, ensuring they are secure, performant, and well-documented.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, following Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and integrate them with backend services.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong proficiency with Java (Java 8+ preferred, including Lambdas, Streams).

  • Extensive hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework, including:Spring Data (JPA/Hibernate) for database interaction

  • Solid understanding of RESTful principles and best practices for API design.

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

  • Proficiency with build tools like Maven or Gradle.

  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
