Job Opportunity: Sales Engineer

Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor

Company: Weldman Welding Sdn Bhd

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Must be contactable all days of the week from 8AM-5PM.

Basic: RM3000

Commission: Commission scheme will be shared during the interview. Progressive target and safety net commission for new hires.

Transport Allowance: RM1000

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Sales & Consultation

  • Promote and sell Weldman's inverter welding machines and accessories to industrial clients.

  • Provide technical advice and product demonstrations to customers, ensuring solutions match their operational needs.

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients across manufacturing, construction, and fabrication sectors.

  • Conduct site visits, understand client requirements, and offer tailored solutions.

  • Proposal & Quotation Preparation

  • Work with the office team for quotations, contracts, and invoices.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company policies.

  • Market Development

  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote Weldman's brand.

  • After-Sales Support

  • Coordinate with service teams for installation, calibration, and maintenance support.

  • Address customer feedback and ensure satisfaction with product performance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Minimum: SPM
  • Experience: 1–3 years in technical sales, preferably in welding or industrial equipment.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Must have a car to travel independently.
