Overview

As a UAT & Product Experience Tester, you will not only uncover usability and experience issues but also take ownership of all online product resources, ensuring continuous availability, functionality, and user satisfaction.

You will act as the first line of defense for product quality and uptime — inspecting, documenting, and coordinating fixes before real users encounter issues.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform & Resource Availability Oversight

  • Monitor and verify that all online product resources (websites, mini programs, apps, portals, media assets) are accessible, functional, and up to date.
  • Conduct daily or scheduled checks to confirm that all links, pages, images, videos, and content assets load properly.
  • Track product uptime and report any availability disruptions or performance degradation immediately.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Product, and QA teams to ensure zero downtime and consistent user access.
  • Maintain an inventory of online resources and proactively verify their operational status.

2. User Acceptance & Experience Testing

  • Perform end-to-end user journey tests from login to key product flows, simulating real usage scenarios.
  • Identify usability gaps, logic inconsistencies, and UI/UX defects.
  • Verify all user-facing elements (texts, buttons, interactions, redirects) for correctness and smoothness.

3. Issue Documentation & Reporting

  • Clearly document defects and incidents, including steps to reproduce, screenshots, and video captures.
  • Evaluate and prioritize issues by severity and impact, helping teams respond effectively.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and Developers to drive resolution.

4. Experience Standards & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to building and refining Product Experience Quality Inspection Standards.
  • Compile recurring issues and improvement suggestions for management review.
  • Provide weekly reports on resource availability, testing results, and user experience health.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Multimedia, or HCI.
  • Familiar with websites, mini programs, and app ecosystems (iOS, Android, H5).
  • Strong attention to detail, user empathy, and logical thinking.
  • Proactive ownership mindset – you take responsibility for product uptime and usability health.
  • Experience with bug tracking and monitoring tools (OpenProject, Jira, TAPD, Feishu Sheets, Datadog, Pingdom, or similar).
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Able to coordinate across departments (product, dev, QA, ops).
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with availability monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of API testing or frontend troubleshooting (browser console, network tab).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) or automated testing tools.
