Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with appointed brokers on the monthly brokerage reporting (Import & Export)
  • Prepare full set of overall consolidation brokerage report for internal stakeholders (Global Trade, Finance, Government Affair)
  • Analysis and managing other source data such as Tradeinsight (previously mystat), need for extraction and prepare final report for internal stakeholders
  • Supporting internal audit on appointed broker which will be done monthly basis focusing on the declaration quality and reporting back to Trade Management
  • To work along with other business unit to establish monthly reporting according to Malaysia Customs requirement. (Value Added Approval Reporting)
  • Supporting internal audit in monthly basis on quality of data extraction and documentation based on internal document retention policy and usage of internal online tools.
  • To support SOP creation and maintenance of current documents for Trade Compliance.
  • To support Trade Compliance Manager in driving trade compliance programs or projects.

Requirement:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Customs Clearance or Trade operations, with solid background in broker management.
  • Solid knowledge of Malaysian Customs regulations, LMW requirements, and international trade compliance.
  • Candidates need to have strong background on customs declaration requirements. (Customs Brokerage license will be an advantage)
  • Hands-on experience in managing or working with customs brokers.
  • Hands-on experince in handling external systems (Mystat,Dagangnet)
  • Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP systems and strong proficiency in MS Office. Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot table, macro & Reporting Preparation)
