Senior Manager, Business Intelligence

Reports To

Head, Airlines Revenue Management

Role Purpose

Drive the company's commercial growth and success by providing insights derived from data analysis and ensuring that accurate data is available for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Accountability
Gather, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to provide business insights that will inform strategic decision-making.Develop and deliver automated reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and ensure accurate reporting.Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to provide insights that will drive commercial growth.Collaborate with other departments to identify data requirements, best practices and process improvements for data quality assurance and governance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, executives, department heads, and product leadership to understand their needs, translate into requirements, and take action on execution, delivery, and communication of the development efforts.Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets and provide recommendations for action to relevant stakeholders.Design, develop and maintain databases, data models, and data systems to ensure robust, accessible and accurate data.Analyse financial data, including trends and benchmarks to provide insights into cost management.Provide stakeholders with ad-hoc reports and analysis in response to specific requests.Stay up to date with trends in business intelligence, data analysis, and technology.Manage and mentor a team of business intelligence architects, developers, and analysts.Provide guidance and support in analysis, modelling, and visualization techniques.Qualifications & Working Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field with more than 8 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis or related field.Experience in airlines is an advantage.Areas of Experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from complex data sets.Proficiency in data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.Advanced skills in SQL and database management.Experience working with sales and marketing teams to drive business growth.Solid understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics architecture.Understanding of finance and accounting principles.Personality Traits
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Creative, open-minded approach to problem-solving.
