We're seeking a
Senior Implementation Coach
to support a client's
offshore oil & gas platform
and surrounding operations. This role is a for a hands-on leader who thrives in the field, facilitates aligned action, and delivers measurable performance gains.

The project is based in
Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia
with regular travel to offshore platforms in Malaysian waters.
This is a Contract role with a duration of up to 12 months.

As a Senior Implementation Coach, you will:

• Provide on-site management consulting and coaching on an offshore platform and related onshore support bases to deliver measurable bottom-line results (production reliability, HSE performance, maintenance productivity, schedule adherence).
• Co-implement a performance-based management system grounded in clear accountabilities, leading/lagging metrics, and rapid feedback loops.
• Stand-up/strengthen daily/weekly rhythms (e.g., shift handovers, plan-of-the-day, maintenance huddles, war room cadences) that drive safe, reliable execution.
• Orchestrate a practical performance measurement system (KPIs, dashboards) and build local capability to sustain it.
• Coach supervisors, engineers, and managers 1:1 and in groups; facilitate training and problem-solving workshops.
• Analyze operational and maintenance data to focus effort where it matters; translate insights into actions and track closure.
• Prepare concise written reports with findings and recommendations; present progress in management forums.
• Work in offshore rotations and at onshore offices as needed; collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and HSE.
• Be a part of a strong and international RLG team, with support from other coaches and head office

We'd love to hear from you if you:

• Proven track record improving performance on
  offshore platforms/CPPs/FPUs/FSOs
  or similar assets; comfortable working at the workface with crews and supervisors.
• Strong facilitation and 1:1 coaching skills; able to align cross-functional teams and close the loop on actions.
• Solid analytics capability using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CMMS and planning tools is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Upstream Operations and Turnaround/Shutdown/Start-up practices;
  Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  or equivalent is a plus.
• Current or obtainable offshore certifications
  (e.g.,
  BOSIET/FOET with HUET
  , valid medical/fitness).
• Familiarity with Malaysian regulatory/HSE context and working with Malaysian operators and service partners.
• Experience standing up performance "war rooms," daily management systems, or reliability improvement programs.
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong industry experience without a degree will be considered.

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia (excellent written and spoken)
  and strong proficiency in English.
• 10+ years
  of relevant experience (Operations/Maintenance/Production) in the
  offshore energy sector
  (oil & gas strongly preferred).
• Willingness to
  travel and work offshore on rotation
  (typical patterns such as 14/14 or 21/21, subject to client policy).
• Must have proper authorization to work in Malaysia.
