Job overviewNexus International School Malaysia is seeking an outstanding Assistant Head of Secondary (AHT) to join our wonderful school. Nexus is located in Putrajaya - one of the larger suburbs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Established in 2008 as part of the Taylor's Education Group, we currently enrol 750 students from Early Years to Year 13 who learn through the IPC, IGCSE and IBDP curricula. We have an inclusive admissions policy and you can expect to teach learners with learning and language needs as well as exceptionally academic children. The student population is made up of over 30 different nationalities giving our school a truly global character. Previous international experience is not required, but the desire to work in a diverse international community is essential.
The successful candidate will be a current member of a high performing Senior Leadership Team (SLT) or an outstanding middle leader from within the Nexus Community. We are appointing two AHTs from this recruitment process, each with a different strategic responsibility. This advert is for the AHT - Teaching and Learning. Like in any SLT, you will have a reduced teaching load and a number of operational responsibilities agreed upon with the Head of Secondary.
