Business Development Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, compile, and manage the submission of tender bids, quotations, and RFQ responses accurately and within stipulated deadlines.
  2. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential projects, clients, and new business opportunities.
  3. Manage vendor registrations, license renewals, and compliance submissions with relevant authorities.
  4. Maintain and update organized filing systems for tender documents, contracts, and project records.
  5. Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to support business growth.
  6. Assist management in preparing reports, presentations, and business proposals for internal and external purposes.
  7. Monitor tender invitations through various channels and maintain an updated tender opportunity calendar.
  8. Provide administrative and coordination support to ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Administrative Sciences, Marketing, Management, or related field.
  • Experience in business development, tender management and/or procurement.
  • Familiarity with RFQs, bid submissions, and vendor registration processes.
  • Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
