HR Manager
Location: Shah Alam, Selangor
Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources operations. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by driving HR initiatives, ensuring compliance, and partnering closely with business leaders to build a strong and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, leave administration, and employee records management.
- Independently manage full-cycle recruitment for key positions such as Senior Sales Executive and Regional Manager, from talent sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent.
- Collaborate with HQ HR Business Partners to implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices consistently across the organization.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide professional advice on HR-related matters, including performance issues, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee the company's compensation and benefits programs, conducting regular market benchmarking to maintain competitiveness and fairness.
- Lead the performance management cycle, ensuring timely and effective goal setting, evaluation, and feedback processes.
- Stay up to date with local labor laws and regulations, ensuring company-wide compliance and updating the Employee Handbook when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive HR experience, with solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead a team to achieve HR objectives.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate with counterparts from China.
