Job Summary

This person is responsible for assisting in the development and management of new and existing products within the company's portfolio. He/she plays a crucial part in driving innovation, ensuring product quality, and bringing products to market that meet consumer demands.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Manage and assist the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to commercialization.
  • Assist in the execution of the product development strategy, which includes defining product goals, target markets, and timelines.
  • Facilitate the development of new product formulations and sourcing of necessary materials, components, and packaging with Supply Chain and Suppliers for product development.
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing and innovation strategies and provide insights and recommendations to enhance the Company's product portfolio.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer preferences, emerging trends, and competitor products.
  • Conduct product trials and stability test to ensure compliance with quality standards; and evaluate the feasibility of new product ideas from technical and commercial perspectives.
  • Assist in conducting cost analysis for new products to ensure they meet budgetary constraints while maintaining quality and profitability.
  • Work with the design house to ensure designers meet the provided design brief, and that the final design outcome aligns with the approved design.
  • Assist in the essential product testing and quality control processes to ensure the product aligns with the product specifications/requirements.
  • Ensure that new products adhere to all relevant regulatory and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, and sales, to generate new product ideas and concepts based on market insights.

Job Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in any relevant field such as Product Development, Food Science, Chemistry, Cosmetic
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in product development or project management within the cosmetics or skincare industry, Fresh Graduate are encourage to apply
  • Intermediate to advance stage in Excel
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Able to work independently, with a clear understanding of the desired direction and priorities based on the organization's vision and strategy.
  • People-oriented, collaborative in nature, result-driven.
  • Preferred Candidates with an interest in marketing within beauty, skincare, personal care, or similar industries is a plus.
