Our client is a global construction and building technology solutions provider. They are seeking a senior HR leader to be based in Malaysia, focused on developing and executing a strategic talent acquisition agenda while supporting broader HR initiatives as Deputy Head of HR.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Talent Acquisition team across all functions.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership to align recruitment with business goals.
  • Oversee the candidate journey and onboarding experience.
  • Drive employer branding and employee value proposition initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize recruitment channels and partnerships.
  • Leverage data and systems (e.g., ATS, CRM) to inform TA strategy.
  • Track and report key hiring metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and operations.
  • Contribute to global and regional talent acquisition projects.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading a recruitment team.
  • Strong background in employer branding and passive talent engagement.
  • Proficient in sourcing platforms, ATS, and CRM tools.
  • Skilled in candidate evaluation and structured interviewing.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and compliance practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
