Banquet, Supervisor/Assistant Manager

- Assist in planning and executing all banquet events, including corporate functions, weddings, and private events.
- Coordinate with clients, sales, kitchen, and service teams to ensure all event details are aligned.
- Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure smooth execution.
- Supervise and guide banquet captains, servers, and support staff during events.
- Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event flow, customer expectations, and service standards.
- Support staff scheduling and ensure adequate manpower for each event.
- Train staff on service standards, grooming, and banquet procedures.
- Attend to guest needs and resolve issues promptly during events.
- Maintain professional communication with clients before, during, and after events.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory, equipment, and linen requirements for banquets.
- Assist in maintaining banquet spaces, equipment cleanliness, and operational readiness.
- Prepare operational reports and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in banquet or event operations, with supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Willing to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays (event-based).
