About the role

PEMBINAAN YSL SDN BHD' is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive / Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the company's financial records and supporting key accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Handle full sets of accounts and responsible for smooth month-end closing, monthly reports, other financial matters and understood applicable accounting principles in accordance with Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standards ("MPERS")).
  • Manage the day-to-day invoice processing of Account Payable including receiving, reviewing, and processing of invoices from suppliers and clients.
  • Process payments via cheque, online banking, or other available methods as part of routine payment batches.
  • Handle petty cash claims and staff reimbursement processes accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia's e-invoicing requirements and support the implementation and submission of e-invoice processes in line with LHDN guidelines.
  • Manage tax submissions (ie. WHT, SST and etc) timely and accurately.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external parties such as vendors, company secretary, auditors, tax agents, and bankers for finance-related matters.
  • To undertake special assignments, ad hoc functions and related duties as when required.

What we're looking for

  • Candidate must possess a degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent. Professional Qualification (ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA) would be added advantage.
  • Candidate related experience in Construction Industry is preferred.
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Able to handle full set accounts without any supervision
  • IT savvy and good with operations and accounting software.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Committed, Team player, proactive, good attitude, able to work independently and efficiently
